Friday night, I went out with some friends from school and it was a little bit of a fiasco. Now that I look back on it, it was actually really funny – I’ll have to tell you guys the story at some point!

the walls and the bookcase look great!
I love the color of your walls and all of the books! As always, I’m amazed by your reading.
i love the color of the walls.. it is a perfect background for your bookcases and your books! and the amount of reading you get done in a week is insane! how do you manage??:)
Love the room! I can’t wait until we make over our guest room which will become a library
The room looks great so far! I love the combination of the yellow walls and the white bookcase. Good choices!
Oh I love the colour you’ve chosen. yellow is so uplifting and cheery and warm!
I love yellow … and so relaxing for a reading room. Looks great so far! And I have to check out what you wrote about the Kindle…my husband surprised me by ordering one for Valentine’s Day. I can’t wait to get it and see if it lives up to the hype. And I can’t believe you read all those books in one week! WOW!
First off, you read A LOT faster than me. Impressive!
We are in the process of buying a house and I am going to be facing some painting. We think we found our “diamond in the rough”. It needs paint, and a good cleaning and some slow updates.
I’ve been browsing paint colors already…if I’ve got to paint, it might as well be colorful and pretty. I am trying to talk my girls out of the color combos they want for their rooms. One wants pink and purple stripes and the other wants one wall pink, one green, one purple, and one yellow. ~sigh~
Your yellow looks very nice and relaxing. I was thinking of yellow in the kitchen to combo with the white cabinets.
very nice! love the room and color and the bookcase
I love the wall color and the books and shelves. Are the bookshelves from Ikea?
What a full Sunday Salon post!
color really makes a room, doesn’t it?!? I love the “after” picture with your bookcase in place
The color looks similar to Benjamin Moore’s Hawthorne Yellow which I’ve used before.
I enjoyed *The Smart One*; a little different than my typical book. I just finished listening to *Outliers*, so I’ll be reviewing that soon. I read your review and think we’re on the same page with this book. My firt audiobook experience; the jury is still out …
